The Turkish (as we're known locally) was opened in 1984 by proprietor Haluk Atagan from the city of Adana in southern Turkey.   
Our aim is, and always has been, to serve top quality, freshly prepared food- we are one of the few restaurants that make our own doner kebab! We try, where possible, to use local produce, having worked with our butchers at Scott Brothers, since the beginning. As our customers can attest this means our meals have stayed at the same standard as day one. Having an open kitchen customers are able to see their food being prepared in front of them.
